My beauty secret are my two eyeliners. One is black/brown, merged with my top lashes in a way that people don’t realize I’m wearing it, they just think I have thick lashes! A day doesn’t go by that I don’t wear it.

And the other liner is a white one that goes on my bottom waterline. That’s the spot just above the bottom lashes. It makes eyes look bigger and more awake.

Not really a big secret but I always spray perfume on my wrist and behind the ears. Those are pulse points so supposedly it’s supposed to make it last longer :-)

Think longterm and protect your skin from the sun. sunscreen, moisturize and drink lots of fluids. Actually I’m running into way fewer people who fixate on tanning. Some shifted from suntanning to tanning salons but that seems to have dropped off.

I dont really have any beauty secrets, I just drink lots of water and it keeps my skin looking fresh.

Always use sunscreen!! Save your skin from sun spots, etc.! And it will keep you looking younger!

The best beauty tip I know of is to drink water and then drink a lil more water and when you are done with that drink some more!

One of my big pet peeves has always been messy painted fingernails. I have always avoided the cuticle area, not painting it. It presents a much neater, well manicured look. For years, & by now I’ve pretty much mastered it, but it took forever, I just painted carefully to make sure the bottom of the nail was painted nicely, leaving a tiny gap by the cuticle. But I recently saw an article on The Horrid Housewife’s blog about how you can paint your cuticle area with Elmer’s glue first before applying your polish. I haven’t tried it yet, but I think this would save you year’s of frustration trying to keep the cuticle free of paint by just doing it ever so carefully!

One beauty lip I swear by is lip priming! Apply a lightweight concealer or foundation to your lips and blend well. Powder them with your compact. Then apply liner and lipstick for flawless coverage!

I asked an older lady one time what she did to her skin as it was baby soft. She rubbed vasaline on her face every night.

To make your chin and neck look trim and fit:

I use Vitamin E on my face to make it smoother, and use on my lips also. Then clean my face and start with makeup. After I apply my regular make up on my face; I then apply a makeup or powder one shade darker than the shade you are using on your face. Just take a makeup brush ( if powder make sure you shake the brush off to clear out extra if powder) then start off first, just under your chin and go back towards ear.on one side; Then blend, blend, blend with your brush, blending up and down and sideways. it will blend in and give your chin and neck a firmer look. Then do the other side. You don’t want it heavy, just enough to give you a little shading. Helps with double chin also. I love this trick, it works for me.

My tip: clean / replace your makeup brushes and applicators frequently. As for applying makeup, in my opinion “less is more”!

my most favorite tips are lots of sleep and tons of water, of course, but my best summertime tip is to keep a nice old fashioned bottle of witch hazel in the fridge. very refreshing after being outside, or just when you need a pick me up in the sticky weather! thanks for such a nice (and lovely) giveaway :)
