Congrats to our winner Kelly D.!
It appears as though Fall is — gulp — finally going to make its presence known. I, for one, could not be more pleased with its arrival. The thought of unpacking up jackets and boots and shopping for pretty dresses, leopard print leggings, neon shirts and adorable prints with 3D accents like ribbons, glitter and lace for my daughter and cool monkey cop, rock academy graphic and shark jaw graphic tees, pull-on cargo pants, color five-pocket pants and nitro hi-top sneaker for my son to usher in the season’s holidays and glorious weather, well, it has me just tickled pink.
This year, my 8-year-old son has apprised me of the fact he will be accompanying me on all clothes shopping expeditions. Who knew my boy would be so discerning about the clothes he wears? I figured, as long as he’s draped in something cozy and warm, its appearance would have no bearing on him. Well my parenting instincts were off the mark. Each morning before school, my son has vetoed pretty much each ensemble and resorts to one pair of pants that have been washed so many times, its gossamer feel has me surprised they haven’t simply turned to dust in my fingers.
I’ve come to realize I’ll need to get his input on any items purchased during this season’s shopping expedition. And my son is a HUGE fan of  THE CHILDREN’S PLACE– as is my 12 year old daughter! Its fall 2013 line evokes the charm of main street style with crisp boutique looks at affordable prices. The bright, sunny colors and mix-and-match pieces make the collection versatile for even the most discerning little fashionista.
